You could have a master cylinder leaking that won`t always show an external leak.you may also have an internal abs hydraulic module leak, you can check the master cylinder by having someone push on the pedal and cracking the lines loose and the fluid should spray out under alot of force,if not then the seals internal of the master are not doing their job.also by unbolting it from the brake booster and pulling it away from the booster and look at the rear of the unit to see if it is damp or wet if it is then it should be replaced.you don`t have to remove the brake lines to check this.if the master checks out good then i would say you have a bad abs module.

Perhaps you need to bleed the air out of the brake lines.

SOURCE: brake fluid leaking on the floor somewhere

You have a leak in the lines somewhere. You need to find where it is leaking at exactly and have it fixed. Check all lines. They go from the engine to all the wheels. If it is in front, check under the car at the wheel base. Be careful driving. I wouuldn't advise it at all really.

My ABS light and my brake light both came on and stayed on on

Check your brake fluid level if need to add make sure that only the fluid specified by the manufacturer is used DOT3, DOT4... Make sure there aren't any leaks by pressing the pedal several times if the pedal continually goes to the floor there may be a leak. Also low brake fluid is an indication of pad ware. Make sure you have your brake system inspected.

2001 f350 brake pedal goes to floor abs light on

Your abs light is a fault light & codes will be present
& used to diagnose the failed system, as any other
MIL Lamp or coded fault

Why the pedal goes to the floor will be found as you
work your way thru factory trouble charts using the codes

You could have a fluid leak, so check the basic mechanicals
as well

2005 chevy duramax 4x4 brake pedal goes all the way to the floor, ABS light on

You need to add BRAKE fluid. After that, blead your brakes. You need to find out where the brake fluid went. If there are no leaks, you need to check the remaining life on all four brake sets. If you have no leaks, chances are pretty good that you need new brakes.

BRAKES BLED PEDAL GOES TO FLOOR WHEN STARTED

if a master cylinder is bad and you are sure you have all the air out and no leaks.pedal will go to floor , running or not. if booster is bad it will cause a hard pedal. but if master cylinder is bad it will turn on a brake light on dash if it works. make sure the wheel cylinders are not leaking. I beleive that the master cylinder is bad, or you have a leak somewhere. If the master cylinder is functioning properly, the brake pedal will depress to a certain depth and no further.

Sounds like there is a fault with the vacuum pump not generating enough vacuum for the brake booster assist, or a leaking vacuum hose. Try pinching off all the vacuum hoses to see if the problem goes away. Could also be a leak in the brake vacuum booster itself

If the brake pedal goes to the floor with the car off, I would suspect air in the system or some other issue with the service brakes. If you feel and hear a growl in the pedal when it goes to the floor then your abs controller may be at fault. There are many possibilities. In either case if your pedal goes to the floor, then you are looking at a safety issue. Generally the service brake system (regular brake system) is the fault and not the abs. I have however seen a sticking dump valve or faulty wheel speed sensor cause an abs issue. Start with the basics first. Leaky wheel cylinders/ calipers, brake lines, or master cylinder. Verify the hydraulic integrity of the service brakes before tackling an abs issue.
