Check to see if u have power to motor if not trace back, if u do than motor is bad, if it blows fuses check for ground problem the motors have small ground wire that attaches to screw that holds motor in place. hope this helps

Its possible that you have a bad blower motor drawing too much amperage in the system.this will blow the fuses.also you may have a bad blower motor resistor causing a short and blowing the fuses.i would also check the connections at the resistor and the motor.its not too often that a bad switch happens on these.

2000 Chevy silverado 1500 blower not blowing

there are two or three things to check first the fuse in the fuse box next there is a resistor that controls the fan speed that will go bad and last the blower motor itself if you can get to it you can run a twelve volt source to the hot or positive terminal and it should come on if it is still working .

You may want to change the blower motor as a precaution.
Do all the fan speeds work?
If not .....change the fan resistor board which is right beside the fan at the same time you change the blower fan motor.

2004 Chevrolet Silverado Heater/AC Blower on without Ignition ON

there is no relay for the heater fan it's a 15 amp fuse and is on the accessories circuit. the reostat is responsible for all 3 speeds .with the key off there should be no voltage to the blower motor whether the fans speed fan switch is on or off. the fuse will be located in the fuse paneleither on the drivers left side in the dash or underneath the dash in the fuse block. you have a short in the harness that is under the dash and most likely it's a bad plug on the harness. your going to have to do some searching but that's where the problem short is... please rate
