Hello
First off the pulling is caused by the high engine idle trying to drag the car forward, it is like having your foot on the gas and sitting still. As far as the fast idle goes are you sure it is not happening all the time? The idle speed in this engine is automatically controlled by a computer called the PCM, the part that the computer controls that adjusts the idle speed is called a IAC valve (Idle Air Control valve), it is located on the side of the throttle body of the engine where the air from the air cleaner enters the engine, this valve could be sticking due to a build up of sludge and gunk from the fuel vapors in the intake, the part is very expensive so 1st try cleaning it using the method below, if that fails to correct the problem you may need to replace the IAC valve. This fix assumes the problem is intermittent and the engine idles normally much of the time.

To correct this problem (if the valve is sludged up and sticking) get a can of throttle valve cleaner (it is made by CRC) from the local auto parts store, spray it into the air intake of the engine until you have used about half the can, you will need to hold the idle up while you do this, it will try to stall, after this shut the engine down and disconnect the Negative (-) battery cable for 5 minutes. The intake is know clean, if you continue to have the stall out the idle speed control valve may be defective and requires replacement.

Hi. Your radiator fan motor may be seized. Should ingage between 95-100 degrees when you parked on idle after achieving full working temp. If it doesn't, check fuse first and than relay responsible for cooling fan( you can find cavity in your owner manual. Let me know. The reason you car is ok while driving is the air going thru your radiator. When you stoped or parked for longer time with no speed there is nothing to cool your radiator. Fix it asap or eventually will cause engine over hit and seize.

95 nissan maxima 3.0. have replaced knock sensor

I would have the charging system checked for over-voltage and AC ripple. There maybe a hidden wire harness problem if the charging system is okay. Wiggle test the wire harness while the engine is running to help locate the problem area. That is way to many parts replaced.

2003 maxima engine deisels when turned off/also idles high

you could have a cylinder miss causing the comp to raise idle to try to stop the missfire. it could be a vacume leak or a bad idle air control motor. id check the throttle body for cracks and any vacume leaks at all. if your sure its ok,then an idle air control may be required

Nissan 2000 ac hot when idle

the a/c condenser has a fan in front ( there is actually 2 fans if you sit on the car it will be fan on right side ) if this fan does not
come on immediately when you are parked and engine in idle
there is a problem with power to it, or motor failure. If you drive it
on the highway and a/c operates fine that's because air is circulating though condenser (thats what the fan is supposed to do at idle or slow traffic)
