It will be the same fuse as the lighter. The fuse must be in the main fuse box. The position and function of the fuses is normally marked on the inside of the fuse box cover and also in the owner's handbook. If you don't come right with these, and you are looking for a blown fuse, work your way through the fuses looking for a blown one. To ease your search the lighter fuse, it should be around 30 amps.

Power source for new backup camera


You need to check that the power plug has power when the key is off. It should have a plug just for telephones and accesories that is 12 volts all the time it may be low on the passenger side of the console almost under the dash.

It may be the one identified as CIG - for cigarette lighter, if you are talking about the accessory socket where you plug in phone charger.

These are called power points in Ford terms
Front one is in the BJB ( aka Battery Junction Box, Engine Compartment fuse panel ), Fuse #1.
Rear ( if SuperCrew cab ) is BJB ( aka Battery Junction Box, Engine Compartment fuse panel ) Fuse # 12. These are separate from the cigar lighter.

To find the Fuse for your Lighter Take off the Fuse Box Cover ,On the back side of the Cover there will be a Diagram,Showing You Which Fuse goes where and Also Shows you The Proper Amperage,If you Have the User Manual it will also have a Diagram of the Positions of Where Each Fuse Goes.Cigerette Lighter on Some Vehicles Is Marked in Fuse Block as Accesories or Could be a Seperate Fuse for Cigerett Lighter. Need to find fuse for cig and 12v accesory 2004


This fuse is located the cavity 12 for 20AMP / Cigar lighter and OBDII; check your 2004 Ford F350 Owners Manual (page 197).

Recently bought iPhone charger and hands free connected to cigarette lighter in J31 Maxima. Fuse blown after 12 hours use. Fuse replaced but blown again. No previous history of this.


check to see that the lighter fuse or accesory fuse is the right amp.it should tell you on the cover of the panel if it is to low that could be causing it to blow otherwise you have something in ligter plug or charger unit causing a short

"Accesory Power" outlet not working. Can't find fuse.


CIG LTR Fuse 15 amp located in the under hood fuse box. Plus AUX PWR 1 fuse 20amp also located in the underhood fuse box.
