The o2 sensor isn't on the engine. it's on the exhaust. there's a special socket you can get to change them which has a **** in it for the wires. can also do it with a spanner but be careful not to let it slip and not to round off the nut, which may be hard as is usually tight to get moving due to when the exhaust gets hot.

The O2 sensor is on the exhaust before the catalytic converter, and possibly after it too. Some vehicles have one, some have 2. If you have dual exhaust with dual cats there will be one before both cats.
You need a special socket to replace them. You can get it at any auto parts store, it has a slot in it for the wire harness. Soak you old one down good with a penetrating fluid before you remove it.
If you are needing to replace one take a few minutes to check the wire harness for bare spots or broken wires. Because it hangs under the vehicle it is exposed to a lot and it's not uncommon for the wire harness to end up being the problem. Check it carefully for insulation worn off or corroded terminals(green gunk) and repair any of that you find and see if that cures your problem first. Hope this helps.

There are only two and always located on the exhaust system.

How to change an oxygen sensor on a 2006 Buick rendezvous

The trouble code should tell you which 02 sensor? The 02 sensors are in the exhaust, sensor 1/sensor2, whatever, bank 1/bank2, whatever, before the cat, after the cat. You have several 02 sensors in the exhaust, don't know which one?
You should be able to remove/install with proper size wrench or deep socket. They do make an 02 sensor socket that has that slot in it, not sure if you need that, though.

Where is the 02 Oxygen Sensor before the cadalic converter on a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe

Usually these are located on the exhaust manifold or just below the exhaust manifold and you should be able to see it in the engine bay. On V6 engines there will be one sensor on each of the 2 exhaust banks.
You will probably need to remove the engine cover to see the sensors on your exhaust.

If someone told you to replace these because you got a particular fault code I would be wary. A decent scan tool and basic diagnostics can show if the 02 sensor is working or not. Some faults often blamed on an 02 sensor are not due to faulty sensors.

The are in the exhaust system. You will need to know if it's bank 1 or 2 & sensor 1 or 2 in that bank.

How to change the O2 sensor? Is it complicated?

No it's not hard but you need an 02 wrench and it cost 8 bucks, disconnect the wire harness and put the socket on and unscrew it and install the new one, there are two normally and you need to know if it's #1 or #2 if you have 3 you need to know if it's bank one or bank two or the rear 02 sensor that is after the cat but they all look the same.
