On new cars its just a bulb your replacing, it can be hard to get to , open hood and look for bulb connector behind the lens. they twist lock into place.. apply pressure and turn slightly. don't force and they should pop out with the bulb, when replacing bulb don't touch with skin use cloth to install , order the light bulb first to see what your dealing with. sometimes they pull out of holder sometimes its a ring,, look at the new one it will help.. if to complicated take bulb to service station. if you never done before it can be a tough job.

Why dont you start by checking the fuses for headlights refer to your owners manual for the location of the fuse box for your car. if the fuses are good then replacing headlight bulbs to both headlight assembly is your next step.If after replacing both headlight bulb you still have the same problem then you might have other electrical issues.

How do you access and replace directional signal bulb

Hello my name is Ben. You must first remove the headlight assembly since the directional signal is underneath it. Raise the hood and you will see two gray colored rods on top of the headlight assembly. Release those rods by rotating them forward and pull them straight up. Now you can remove and unplug the headlight assembly to remove it. You will now have access to the directional signal bulb. I hope this helps with your repair, Ben.

How to Replace a Headlight Bulb
(DIY Complexity: Easy / Time: 0.9 hour)

Parts:
1. Headlight Bulb

Tools:
1. Screwdriver
2. 1/4 in. Drive Ratchet
3. Socket Set

Steps:
Step 1 Open the hood and locate the headlight assembly.
o Tip: Most headlight assemblies have a place in the rear to gain access to the headlight bulb.
o Tip: It is recommended that headlight bulbs are replaced in pairs.
o Tip: Always make sure the struts on the hood can fully support the weight of the hood so that it does not close on you while working. The use of a hood prop can securely hold it in place.
o Tip: Safety Tip:Always wear safety glasses when working on your vehicle. Wear other personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary, for example latex gloves or safety shoes.

Step 2 Gain access to headlight bulb.
o Tip: It is a good idea to check the high beam and low beam headlight bulbs at this time.

Step 3 Disconnect the wiring harness and replace the old headlight bulb with a new one.

Step 4 Turn on the headlights and check high and low beams to verify repairs.

Hope this help (remember rated this help). Good luck.

1997 Cevrolet blazer, dim headlights even after replacing. fuse box cannot be found.

A dim headlight after replacing would indicate a bad ground on that side. Check the black wire running from the headlight and try following it back to where it grounds. Or you can run a ground wire direct to the headlight and make sure you ground it to bare metal, or the negative post on the battery.
