When was last plug & wire change? Also fuel filter? (alot of questionable fuel going around these days) I would start w/ plugs, wires & fuel filter and run a good fuel system cleaner (Stp/Gumout, etc..) through it. Depending on year (you didn't mention) have an OBII scan done (fault scan) any good parts store - Autozone, Advance, etc.. can do this free & pull codes to see if any faults come up.

you have to hold the crankshaft sensor down while you tighten the bolt or the bolt will draw the sensor up a little bit . there is a small amount of adjustment on the sensor and a few thousands of an inch matters a lot . fuel filter is not changeable it is in the fuel tank on the fuel pump and if you have 120,000 miles or close i recommend changing the fuel pump and the 2 filters with it because at this mileage it wont last long also when asking questions be more specific with year make engine size and mileage

I have a 03 kia sorento that i just changed the timing belt and water pump on. It drove fine for about 10 mins but then stalled. After 15 mins it starts, runs for 10 mins, rough again and stalls out.

run fault codes
check for wiring on crank shaft position sensor or cam position sensor/s
it will be something that was affected by the belt replacement procedure

98 Dodge Stratus runs rough, stalls, is running hot. I replaced the cam and crank shaft position sensors when the codes came up, also replace the fuel pump a few months ago. Now this. It also doesn't start...

Well the timing belt and water pump either work or they don't. So I doubt either part has actually failed.
I think I would want to figure out the running hot problem first since that could cause the other two if its a leaking head gasket.

Engine only stalls when in any gear also when floored engine cuts out at 3000+ rpms

it sounds like a crank sensor if the vehicle stalls in any gear or when cold its most likely a crank sensor. located near the bottom of the engine. there almost always behind the balancer pully for the crank shaft

2004 chevy silverado 5.3L V8 runs rough and stalls

Well, code 336 is for a problem with the crank sensor, and code 171 is for fuel system too lean bank one which is the side with cylinder one. Since you have checked fuel pressure and I will assume fuel volume is good, the crank sensor or circuit could be at fault.

Van runs good then stalls out. then hard to start. If i let it sit for 5 minutes it starts again no problem. Then stalls again shortly there after.

This sounds like a failing camshaft position sensor and weak crank shaft sensor .When crank shaft sensor gets weak it will stop functioning. When crank shaft sensor stops working then ECM will not control fuel system and the fuel will stop flowing. And this can cause the problem. When crank shaft sensor gets heated it will stop working, but when the car shuts off, the sensor gets cold and works for few minutes and sensor again gets hot and it stalls. ---------- Get the crank shaft sensor tested on your Chevrolet venture. ---------- There are many other possibilities for this stalling problem, but crank shaft problem is indicating in your case. Try inspecting your crank shaft sensor lead wire or replacing your crank shaft sensor. The ICM and also give you the same issues your having, but start with the crank shaft sensor first.
Here is a link that should help you get your DTC codes and hope it will lead you in the right direction to addressing your engine's issues.
