Water leaking into the passenger foot well

Nine chances out of ten its the drain hoses behind the seats. You need to disassemble the plastic to get down to the sump and drains and clean them. Also, remove the flapper valves that cause the blockage. Add a 1/4' plastic mesh to bottom of the sump and a roll of 1/4" to hold the mesh down and provide a filter for the top drain holes. Don't use screen or other smaller hole plastic material. If it is a 2006-2009 see service bulletin 09-046/10. At Mazda it will cost you $500. You can do it better yourself if you have the time 4-6 hours. This is written up in detail on another Fixya response.

2005 bmw 325i water in rear passenger floor after rain storm

Not a BMW expert here.
If it has a sunroof it could be a problem with the roof drain.
Could also be a problem with a door gasket letting water run down a door pillar.

Rain water leak

Did you have the windshield replaced recently? This is typically caused by faulty installation of a windshield. Sometimes it can be fixed by adding windshield sealant (polyurethene, not silicone) where the windshield is adhered to the subframe - most likely along the bottom edge.
