Fog lights on 2005 durango

I was able to get the broken ones out because they were cracked and I didn't care if they broke more... but to put the new ones in seems a pretty tight squeeze....

yes, they do have to go in through the front of the bumper, but unless you've done it before I don't think you can understand how tight of a fit it is... Thanks for trying

What you might need to do is set them in throught the front of the bumper. and tighten them down until the do not move or break.

Fog light assembly

Yeah i just replaced them on my Wifes 04 Durango which is basically the same model. Go under the front of the car and they are mounted with I believe one screw on a bracket. Just unplug and unscrew it and replace it.

2005 Dodge Durango interior dome lights will not shut off

One of the switches on the doors or tailgate are broken. Look at the switches (located on the door or the door pillars) and see if one of them has been broken or stuck. This switch turns lights off when depressed.

I have a 99 durango 5.9 overheated cracked 2 heads put 2 new heads on now showing low compression in 2 cylinders and pressure in radatior

Didn't shave the block or check for warpage before installing the heads? Not uncommon for the block to also get damaged when a vehicle overheats.

Describe how to change fog lamp (just the bulb) on 2005 subaru forester. As far as I know the fog light assembly is fine, the bulb has just burned out. If you know which bulb to use please let me know,...

2005 Forester - It is easiest to remove the fog assembly.

1. From underneath the vehicle pry out one plastic fastener to be able to bend the light weight plastic mud protector downward. You will see the underside of the fog light assembly with one 10mm bolt directly above you. Remove this bolt.
2. From the front of the vehicle unscrew one 10mm bolt at top of fog light (this is the shorter of the 2 by the way) and pry out one plastic rivet adjacent to it.

3. Carefully remove the fog assembly and disconnect 2-pin power connector by pulling up on the release. Carefully wiggle the housing out (no force req'd).
4. Unscrew the back from the housing and replace H3 bulbs. Take care not to touch the bulb while replacing.

5. Reverse to install.

Should take an hour at most.

Passenger side mirror with HD gas light. Mirror popped out. Everything is still in tack and working. Can it be put back in place without buying new one.

look at the back side there is a circle of little teeth if some of them are broken and or missing you need a new replacement mirror, not the whole mechanical partthat bolts to the door.if no teeth are broken or missing then press the mirror back in place with the palm of your hand.carefully it can crack.hope this helped.

Key fob is broken, the batttery bracket broke off,

Use a couple of pieces of wood to thermally insulate the terminal from the vice so you can heat it. Apply heat, again either with a large iron, or sometimes you will need a small blow torch. Apply and allow the solder to melt and flow in until it either fills the cup, or it flows out the vent hole if there is one.

Broken fog light

I can't remember if there's one or two screws holding the assembly in... once the screws are out.. you have to gently pry on the housing to get the retainers to pop out for the assembly to slide out of the hole
