I would 1st check the tires to make sure you don't have a knot or bad separation, or out of balance in the tire or tires, then check the front end components, tie rods, ball joints, and steering link, & idler arm, to make sure they are not loose, or worn out, if everything here checks out, then make sure rear transmission mount bolts are not loose, if these check out ok, i would next check the universal joints out to make sure that they are not loose, or worn, if so, these will cause a vibration, also in the steering and through out your vehichle, hope that this information has helped you.

I would have the car checked by a shop for alignment, tires, and worn front end parts.

60mph speed vibrations: have your tires checked. They may be out of balance. One way to tell is to run your hand flat over the tread surface as you go around the tire. other than the space between the treads, you should feel a relatively smooth tire. If you notice raised treads, lumpiness or uneveness in treads then you may need to change tire. Have suspension checked. As for the floor board knock, have your motor and transmission mounts checked.

2000 Dodge Dakota vibration while driving

sound like the u-joints in the driveshaft. Lay under the truck and where the u-joints are try moving the driveshaft up and down. If it moves then the u-joints are bed. This will cause a tremendous vibration under a load and the faster it spins it will smooth out.

ball joints or bent rim. Does it click or thunk when turning? It may be tie rod as well. You can lift it up and try turning wheel by hand and shake it to see how much play there is.
Check the there is a weight on the rim. Every one is supposed to have one.!!!!
