Question about 2000 Honda CR-V
That was happening to my 99 CR-V as well. In my case found out one day when idling in traffic and car overheated, brought her to a garage and they said the radiator fan was not working and the AC fan was only slightly moving. Got both fans replaced and all seems well for the past 2 weeks. They said thanks to me running the AC sometimes the fan was able to save the engine from frying!

All automobiles do this. The output of the air conditioning compressor is directly proportional to the engine RPM. If your system is low on refrigerant this effect will be magnified. - H H McDonald
