Question about 1999 Lincoln Town Car

Check all wires that is hooked to the battery terminals as one may have been corrioed and or missing as you disterbed the connection casue a pats system would flash a theft light and so on as we know pats are the most pain in the rears theft systems around if its your pcm google how to program a new key see if it works if it does then its a good ecm if not then its a bad pcm or wire

Try by removing cables from battery, and hold cables together for about 10 seconds this may reset pcm.
If this doesnt work your vehicle needs to put on a scanner. Not just an obd one.
a lot of cars from ford have the pats system installed. you could also have some pcm issues, for the pcm has to relearn some procedures. hope this helps !
