Changed battery in 2002 infiniti g35, now car will not start and no lights will come on inside the car, only the break likes work

You probably blew the main fuse. Its like a 100 amp fuse. huge thing. It should be in the under hood fuse block or close to a battery cable. Your owners manual will tell the location. If thats it you can rig it up with aluminum foil for now to get it back on the road.

New starter wont start just click

change battery cables. get rid of those small gauge wires and put wire in that will draw amps. I had one car that would kill battery every year and found out the cables were to light to keep it working properly.. both the positive to the starter and the ground cable are way to small for the car. clicking means it isn't getting enough power to the starter to spin the motor !

Loud click and buzz when trying to start car

your starter is shot. The click and the ting sound is your bendex not engaging properly. You can catch car on fire, or mess up your computer if you keep trying to start it. Be sure to disconnect the battery when you change it. Good luck

Alternator changed, now car will not start

Check cable between engine/gearbox and chasis, or bypass this cable during jump starting,by putting the - jump cable on the engine, if it starts your cable between engine and chasis has a bad connection.

Good luck

why did you disconnect the battery cables to do an oil change.make sure the terminals(both battery and cables) are clean and tight.this may be all it don`t say but if you have anti-theft on the car it may need to be reset to start the car.

Do this self test and youll get an idea where your at, can you jumpstart the car?? if you can do so. then remove either cable from the car battery its self, if it shuts off you have a bad alternator, if it doesnt then theres a bad/losse cable somewhere between your battery/starter and or losse ground from battery to to enigine block or chassis. i would start with check the alternator, then creep under or above and check for loose cables ar starter, grab the cables by hand and move them around. send me a feedback or let me know if you need more help.
