Hello i have a ford focus 1.6 2001 petrol manual its leaking oil into the air box and on the ground have changed the breather hose and crankshaft breather valve now the engine managment light is on done 111000 miles

You could also try replacing or cleaning the filter element inside the airbox. It may just be saturated with oil after all these years.

Fuel pump
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
  2. Disconnect the fuel inlet, outlet and return hoses at fuel pump.
  3. Remove the two fuel pump mounting bolts, and remove the fuel pump.
  4. Remove the fuel pump gaskets and insulator.
Check for leakage, if there is oil or fuel leaking from the breather hole, oil seal or diaphragm of fuel pump, the pump is defective. Replace fuel pump as an assembly.

  1. Turn the crankshaft so the No. 1 cylinder is at top dead center on the compression stroke. NOTE : This is to minimize cam lift for ease of installation.
  2. Insert the push rod into the cylinder head.
  3. Install the new gasket and insulator, install the fuel pump.
  4. Tighten the bolts firmly.
  5. Connect the fuel hoses to the fuel pump ******* and tighten the hose clamps.
  6. START the engine.
  7. Check for fuel or oil leaks.

2003 Jaguar X Type has p1314,p0300,p1313,,p0303,p0301,p0302,p0305

the fault codes you have are all misfire codes p1313 and p1314 are manufactuer codes only. but they all point to same issue check the engine wiring harness under the air box for chaffing also the on plug coils are very unreliable the spark plug internal resistance is critical use only genuine plugs we had to change all 6 because pattern plugs had been fitted and check for water ingress in to the ecm/connector that may be the problem

hi i have a 2001 1.6 zetec ford focus. the engine managment light is on and my car has bee leaking oil into the airbox on the floor and onto the gearbox coming from the rocker cover breather hose ( i have changed the camshaft breather hose and valve ) any suggestions ?

front of engine right side top behind manifold check the rubber breather hoses they split and perish and cause symptoms like yours

2001 VW POLO 1.4 16v AHW, breather hose problem

if heave oil deposits are coming trough the breather then you may have other problems, such as worn piston rings causing exsessive blow by resulting in the oil being in the intake box, a filter will only create a restriction coursing more poblems, do a compresion and cylinder leak down test to find out how well the rings are sealing.

How to change / repair crankshaft oil seal on focus deisel

hi, there is no easy fix here. you will have to break down the engine to repair this. you could use a 30w oil to slow down the leak but, the repair is inevitable.

Oil is being pushed out of eng/ breather pipe

try to replace the pcv valve patricia and see if that helps. good luck buenas noches
