SOURCE: I need to siphon the
as you are pushing the hose in the tank twist the hose so it rolls over and it should go in, the hose will probably need to be three feet long, you may have to go to lowes or home depot and get a longer hose that will also fit the siphon pump

yes you have to drop the tank. you will also need a fuel line tool to unhook the fuel lines. before you drop the tank see if tou can reach and wiggle the electrical connection on the top of the tank. these pumps have a pigtail issue. please rate

LOCATE FUEL SUPPLY HOSE , FIND A HOSE GARDEN ONE WOULD DO , GET A HALF INCH COPPER PIPE YOU WILL ONLY NEED A TWO INCH LONG ONE AND TWO JUBILEE CLIPS , NOW CONNECT A HALF INCH OF THE COPPER PIPE TO THE GARDEN HOSE WITH JUBILEE THE OTHER HALF INCH TO THE FUEL SUPPLY HOSE WITH THE OTHER JUBILEE CLIP MAKE SURE THE CONNECTIONS ARE NOT LEEKING , NOW START ENGINE AND YOUR PUMP SHOULD EMPTY YOUR TANK INTO CONTAINER .

You have to drive your car up on metal ramps. Chock your wheel's, have your pressure relived, remove your negative battery terminal, have your fuel pumped out using drill powered pump or drive your vehicle to the reserve point. Loose your tank straps, and lower the tank. Unplug your electrical connectors and pull your tank out under vehicle so you can remove locking flange on top of the tank to remove fuel pump and sending unit out.Replace fuel level sending unit and reinstall it back.

without starting the engine position the key to the on position.
you can hear the fuel pump operationing for 4 to 6 seconds upon having the key on.
if not heard running check the fuel pump fuse, the fuel pump relay, and the engines oil pressure switch.
they all work the pump you see
the engine oil pressure switch runs the pump untill the engine reaches normal pressure
once the pressure is reached to the normal range the computer shuts that circuit off and turns the fuel pump relay on
