I don't know why you would be at a dealer,
unless your car was under warrantee

Of coarse you can resolve yourself

Check the door seals

Go to a local repair shop and
borrow the air hose, to blow out the
drains on the bottom of the doors

If you have a sun roof, the drain hose may be off.
In which case you remove the sun visors and
whatever else to drop the head liner and reinstall the hose

Water on floor passenger side after it rains and after air has been running 2000 grand prix

Ac hose leak?
leaking heater core?

Hint: it leaks when it RAINS

If it were related to the heater core or the AC drain, it would be leaking when it is not raining also, so those diagnoses are not logical.

The grand prix has a long history of floor leaks from seal failures around the air intake under the windshield cowling, where RAIN water runs in.

Water on floor behind front passenger seat

drill a hole through the floor as a quick fix ,if it gets in let it out ,then check for the leak ,try under the firewall where the AC drain pipe is ,it could be the same pipe for drain water coming in from air intake vents

Water leaks in above and behind dashboard passenger side..onto floor board when it rains. Took it to dealer last time..charged 80 bucks told something was clogged but they would not tell me how to remedy...

There is only one thing that will cause it if you have a Sun roof and that is the water drain pipe from the roof to the wheel arch were it drains out and this bunged up,so blow it out with air compressor or high water pipe.
IF no to sunroof then its the windscreen leaking at the top and you might not beable to see it it will be at the top But dont try and fix it as the screen has to come out to do the job correctly.
But if only leaks water on floor and not on top of dash it could be the vent under windscreen were the wipers go and the vent drains the rain also to the left and right side of wheel arch, then they can be blocked and overflowing into the air box for the heater because that is where the air comes from when on FRESH AIR for heater..So check them out and do as required it shouldent cost you anything unless its the screen out..Job Have a goodday Let me know how you get on Ron

Front passenger side carpet getting wet

The AC evaporator units have a drain hose that runs through the floor because condensed moisture is a fact of life with AC units. Yours is plugged. You will have to get under the vehicle and look for the hose where it comes out, then take like coat hanger wire and clean it out, It is somewhere in the vicinity of where the passenger foot well meets the fire wall. If you have to raise the vehicle to get under it, make certain you have it safely supported. If you don't have the stuff, drive the passenger side wheels up on a good curb and use some cardboard to slide under.

Wet floors on passenger side after it rains.

Is it possible the water is actually coming from the A/C evaporator case, whose DRAIN IS CLOGGED ? The water produced by the A/C then leaks out of the case, down under the carpeting, then depending how vehicle is parked, can flow to the rear floors and carpet. Hope this helps

Water leaking in to car from clogged drain tube

the a/c drain tube is ONLY to drain a/c condensate coming of the evaporator in your a/c system. Has nothing to do with rain, but everything to do with high humidity. If you put you a/c in "ecirc" mode when using the a/c, you cut down on condensate draining by about 70%.
WItht he a/c running ona humid day, you should see condensate draining out of the drain tube on the passenger side under the car body.

The rain water is another story. You have an air intake we call a "Rainhat" that is under the leaf screen at the base of the windshield towards the passenger side. If you have rain water dripping or running into the rainhat, it will run into your heater plenum (the big, black plastic thing under the instrument panel).

Remove the leaf screen and look for leaves or other debris clogging the area around the rainhat. look to see if water is running along the metal trim above the rainhat and dripping into the rainaht opening.

I once fabricated a cover over the rainhat using the bottom of a plastic anitfreeze bottle. I made an opening at the rear so it could still draw air in without restriction. It solved the water running along the base of the leaf screen and drooping right inot the rainhat. It rusted the blower motor and ruined it.

Good luck.

Convertible leaks

Look for a plugged drain at both rear side panels. Water from the top can enter the car, but it is then discharged out thru drains. If the drains are clogged, you will have this problem. Same for any other Toyota convertible.
