Take a small flat head tech screw driver or a small plastic wedge and be very careful. You have to work it out. Look at the new one to see how it secures itself.

SOURCE: 1995 saab 900s distributor leaking oil

I had the same problem. First I replaced the seals. Not once but twice, but that did not work. So I purchase a new distributor from online internet parts place in Arizona. I had no more problems. Its been 4 years now since I replaced it.

SOURCE: suggested replacement of timing belt for 1995 saab

Initially 30,000 then every 36,000. These engines are identified as "interference engines" meaning that engine damage is most likely to occur. What this means is as the cam stops tne crank continues to spin allowing the pistons to move up and down. All the valves do not close just because the cam stops thus resulting in bent valves.

Dashboard lights on my 1988 jeep wrangler arent working with mu headlights on.

the whole dash's wiring comes through the headlight switch, this switch contains a rheostat (an adjustable dimmer for the dash lights), which are notorious for going bad due to their static type operation, chances are it needs a new switch.

The switch needs to be replaced and it requires some special tools if it's in the steering column. If it's on the floor any shade tree mechanic can do it.

My brake lights don't work and it's not the fuse. I don't know how long they have been off. I got pulled over and i was told they didn't work

first get a 12-volt tester and test the socket if the sockets are good check the brake light switch on top of the brake pedal itself and check all of the fuses too.
