The track bar is probably broke. You will have to take off the panel to get to it.

Window off track of chevy tahoe rear window how do you get it back up

If it is off track just take the inner door panel off and put it back on track. if that don't work replace the broken window regulator and check the window motor to see if it is still good. replace if necessary .

The driver's seat in my 1989 wagoneer is barely staying connected to the metal down below. you barely push up on it and it's up ontop of the steering wheel. a friend says to weld it in place to the floor....

No this cant be done, there two diffrent seats, i think the best thing is to try and weld it, remove the seat and see if its the track that broke or the floor itself, i just repair one with power seats and the track had a couple of frozen arms and thats what caused seat track to break. i remove the seat and remove track from seat freed frozen linkage arms and welded track all worked out good, hope this helps.

My driver side front window does not come down but the passanger side front and back and driver back do go up and down. Do i need to change the power window motor or is it the window regulator for driver...

regulator usually wears out and breaks or gets bound and burns up motor, change them both if available. Good sign of bad regulator is sloppy window in track, or window off track. I always replace them together if they are available. it is possible that you just need a switch, but most likely the reg/motor.

Power Window won't go up

It's a different van than mine but i have the same issue. The motor in mine went bad. For the longest time it took forever for the window to go up and then one day it wouldn't. Why did it go down easy you say?? The weight of the window helps bring it down with a weak motor. You may also have come off track. To put it back on its track involves you removing the inside door panel. This also has to happen to have the motor replaced.

Passanger window wont roll all the way up and makes noise and slips from it's position.

Window is misaligned/off track. Temporary solution; With door open, have 2nd person operate window while you press on glass from both sides. Guide window to full up position. Complete repair requires removal of inner trim panel (see my solution for trim panel removal). With panel off operate window (2nd person if needed). Observe window tracking movement. Look for broken loose parts inside door. If needed, observe correct operation of functioning door. Usually (if no parts damaged) glass needs to be loosened when fully up. Then correctly aligned in track. Then re-tightened.
