Yes there is a pan. If you hit it then it will probably need to be replaced. There are also transmission lines and a cooler that may be leaking as well. Best bet is to get some ramps from Walmart and drive your car up and get under to check if you are planning on doing the work yourself.
transmission line is loose @ connection, or has a hole(leak) in the line, even a crack in housing. trans is a large pump, high pressure, if you have a leak, just start your car and look under it, you'll know real quik.
Without looking at it, If there is raw fuel anywhere up top this is what i would do: 1. check rubber fuel lines on the intake. easy fix if leaking 2. check or replace the fuel injector o-rings they are $3.00 per set easy fix. 3. check cold start injector for fuel leak also easy fix
2 things come to mind. 1st, the Blazer has a bad tendancy to clog up
passages with the long life (orange) coolant. We especially see this
with the heater core due to the smaller lines in the heater core. So it
is possible that there is a clog somewhere, but the leak is what needs
to be addressed 1st in my opinion. A pressure test is the only way I
know of to safely and accurately find a coolant leak.
IT MIGHT HAVE COME FROM THE FILLER TUBE TO THE GAS TANK! OR POSSIBLY ONE OF THE FUEL LINES ATTACHED TO THE TOP OF THE TANK! ON A NEWER CAR, YOU CAN ACCESS THE FUEL PUMP INLET FROM UNDER THE BACK SEAT! DEFINATELY CHECK THIS OUT, AS IT CAN CAUSE A FIRE, AND YOU COULD GET HURT!
that most likely is your transmission fluid and you probably leaked out 4 to 5 liters , you must have a transmission line that has blown you will have to replace the leaking line and then add mercon 5 through the transmission dipstick the vehicle will have to be running to get an accurate reading keep in mind when you pour in fluid you have to wait about 1-3 mins before you can get an accurate reading due to fluid being inside the tube and when you pull the dipstick out it will read full, so pour in the fluid and the wait a bit start it and check it, the leak is most likely comming from a line.
bad exhaust you might need to replace the whole system you most likely have an exhaust leak somwhere by the doors or where air can even just slightly pass through take it to a shop and have them inspect it best answer i can give you
Hello there: First i would check the obvious like the fuse andseeif it is good and is it is than you will want to check out the heater motor it is locate at the firewall under the hood on the passenger side when you have the heater turned on in the car simply check to see if you hear the motor running if not you might have a bad heater motor or their is a electrical wire that is either shorted out or is loose on the harness If you are handy with a volt meter you can check the wire harness for the mototr by disconnecting the heater motor harness and see if their is voltage presant at the connection where the heater plugs in to ok If so great if not your wiring is bad somwhere down the line and if you do have voltage showing this would indicate your heater motor is probably faulty ok? hope this helps Best regards richard
