It is located in the right front inner wheel well just forward of the wheel. When replacing the Powertrain Control Module, PCM, you need to program it. You can usually have this done at the dealership service department

Switched ignition switches out of 1998 Sunfire into my 2000 Sunfire... How long does it take to do the Theft System reset?

You can only reset two ways

Take the car to a dealership to pair the chip in the key, to the chip in the ignition lock.

or

Disconnect the battery for an hour. When you reconnect, the ECM will pair and recognise the two chips.

Fuse for fuel pump on 2001 pontiac sunfire

There are some logical steps need to be taken 1st. Verify if the engine has air, fuel and spark. Fuel can be checked with an inline gauge at the fuel rail. There could be several different things wrong. Bad ECM, fuel pump, injectors, fuel pressure regulator etc. Need to verify spark, this too may have several different problems. Bad ECM again, power/ground circuit faults, coil pack ect.

Fuel system wiring 1995 sunfire

Could be ECM/PCM but you need to go further and diagnose it. trace fuel pump wires and find out if there is a fusible link or break/bad connection. If you have another ECM you can try it. is there power at the relay? at the fuse? Ignition module?

Changed alternator still is not charging 1996 sunfire gt

The alternator output is regulated by the ECM. If you have a known good alternator you have either a wiring problem or a bad ECM (electronic control module).

1997 Sunfire real slow to crank, shuts down immediately

I would recommend having the ignition module tested. I have had one of these vehicles with the same problem and that is what fixed it.
