Some times it takes several days to reset the drive-cycle = Starting from cold state, different speeds for a certian distance, EVAP from cold condition and time. If the PCM dosen't get the proper readings from the sensors it won't reset untill it does. If you keep getting an " incomplete" on a system, then there's a problem with that system and you will have to find and repair it.
Give it a few days of running varried trips.

I have a 2004 ford explorer xlt v6 4.0l gas. need a o2 sensor diagram. I need names and description. for example bank 1 sensor 2 after catalytic converter

Hope this helps

Bank two are the even cylinders. Follow exhaust manifold on the side. You will find an O2 sensor just after or on the manifold, before the catalytic converter. Then, look after the catalytic and you should find another O2 sensor, this is the one you mention in your post.

Need the correct number and or location for the PCM fuses and the heated O2 sensors,EGR Vaccum regulator, EVR solenoid, camshaft positionsensor fuses on a2003 focus in the interior and exterior fuse b

To start with, if the check engine light is not on, you probably don't need to check any of the components.
The engine and systems have to get up to operating temp and go thru the closed loop program a few times before the exhaust can be checked.
The printout you have says the engine and exhaust have not been hot enough yet.
The correct process to make the components ready to test is - drive at 55 mph for at least 12 min with no stops or variance in speed. Then 0-35 mph at least 4 times, and make sure you make complete stops each time. This should run the emissions system thru a complete drive cycle.
Some state testing is different so check with your state.

I had all 4 o2 sensors replaced 3 years ago and now my explorer is sending the o2 failure code again. What could be the cause of the failure/code? thanks, scott

Before i can give you an O2 sensor code I need to find out what kid of vehicle you have and as for the sensor problem you can look to see if one of the O2 sensors are unplug.

Good Luck!

I need the positions of all the oxygen censors on a 97 ford explorer

I would assume you have never looked under your vehicle, or have no knowledge of O2 Sensors

They are always in the exhaust pipes, either just before the converter or in the converter.
The second one, is almost always in the converter, at the outlet.

Some vehicles have two,some four.

You can always follow the wires to them

Replace with the exact part, some sensors are universal, and require cutting wires, splicing etc. Forget them.

O2 Sensor Codes----you may get,DO NOT tell you they are bad or what to replace.
Just that a sensor is out of range. Always test first. Don't throw parts at it.

What does the code P0420 means in a 2004 dodge intrepid

A code P0420 may mean that the O2 (oxygen sensor) has gone bad and needs to be replaced. This is not detrimental to the operation of your vehicle but could make you fail an emissions inspection if your state requires them

Check engine light on.

Replace O2 sensor. They have to be really hot in order to read right. Did you ensure to drive around a good 30 min to make it hot?
