Question about 1965 Ford Mustang
Did they install new cam bearings if so a cam bearing turned wrong could cause problem what pump did you install the best pump is high volume not high pressure

You should be getting 35-40 Psi @2000 rpm. It could be incorrect bearing clearances.
Very small changes in main bearing clearance make for large changes in oil pressure.
