Question about 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
It will be somewhere around $200 +/- the wheel bearing itself is $153 at a normal parts store. Its a lot cheaper to do it yourself, let me know if you want some assistance. Or you can go to my website
I can get you the part real cheap at least and you can take it to your mechanic. Thanks.

Ask them why it wasn't a problem before the work that they did in that area, and if it normally needs replacement because of bearing work done, then why wasn't it done, and why should you pay the labor to pull everything apart again? Call your local parts store or dealer for price on part, so you know what they're charging you for labor. If it's 2 wheel drive, (repairpal.com) gives an estimate of about $75-$100 for labor & $50-$75 for parts.? Something not right here! Have you dealt with these guys before?

SOURCE: Wheel bearing cost
I had one replaced on my wife's Suburban last month... with parts and labor, you're looking at about $400 for one side. I'm in central TX but shouldn't be that much difference

A fair cost to replace one wheel's bearings at a certified shop should run very closely to $300. If you would be able to do it yourself it would be about half that price, because you won't pay mark up on the price and you're not getting charged labor, you're doing it yourself.I hope I could help...
