Question about 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue

1 Answer

Hi, I have a 2002 olds. intrugue, 120k. My windshield wipes won't "hide-away". I must leave them on the lowest intermintted setting; which is annoying. Or leave them off, and the rest in the vertically on the windshield. Is their an easy fix.

Perhaps you might try removing the wipers at rest position (where ever they stop) and setting them back on as close to the folded position. If that doesn't solve the problem it might be in the switch. The last and worst scenario is a defective motor

1992 Toyota problems

it could be the heater or it could be that someone has used too much back to black on the dash board. wipe the windshield down with warm water and a spot of white vinegar, put the heater on full for a few minutes with a towel over the windscreen vents. if you don't clear the problem doing this you will at least highlight by the state of the towel that the core is leaking. Also check for damp carpets around the centre console

My windshield wipers will not park in the down position when turned off. I have to leave them turned on to the lowest intermittent setting. They were frozen with heavy snow while driving a couple of years...

there is no reset, the only thing to do is go to a wrecker and get a wiper motor with the same system as you have, intermittent wipers as opposed to non intermittent wipers, and have it installed.some wreckers will install parts for you and if they do and its not working they can get another while the car is there from another car.this will also be cheaper than a new one.

Hi, i have a1997 Pontian Gran Pree SII V-6 and the Windshield Wipers Will not stop io have tao leave them on the lowest speed they do not go back down into thwie locks under the window and i have...

It could be a problem in the windshield wiper switch itself and you would have to change it out which is not really easy for the in-experienced mechanic.

Water leaking in glove box? looks like there is a hose that comes into the box... water is dripping from that hose under the near the back of the engine .

There are three possible fluid can leak though the glove box.

Leaves and dirty block the drainage pathway..
Rain water/car wash water will seek the lowest spot.

AC condenser water drainage pathway may be block.

Windshield washer hose come off and window washer fluid somehow find it was to the interior.

Try to identify the smell of the liquid. It may just be Wet ones wipes.

Good luck
