Question about Peugeot 405

1 Answer

I have a Peugeot 407 SW 2.0 HDI I have recently had the particulate fluid topped up and engine management reset. The car is running well but a warning light has come on--not flashing, saying 'emission control system fault'. The car has done about 110000miles and is early 2005. How critical is this and what do you think I should do about it? PS the drop down menu doesn't include the 407 which is why I have put 405 All suggestions welcome, Thanks, Ian Brown.

You need to have an OBII scan done (fault scan). Scan will identify what sensor triggered light. It may or may not be "critical" but it's worth investigating before it gets worse and causes more damage.
