Do you have any stored codes in the computer ? If a problem occurs that could damage the compressor, the computer will deactivate the system until the problem is fixed and the codes are erased.

2001 XL7 Airconditioning is not working only air not cold.

Is your compressor kicking on? If it is not kicking on chances are that either your compressor is bad, you have a bad switch, or a blown fuse. Another thing to look into is whether or not your A/C unit is fully charged with 134a coolant. If your unit is not fully charged it will not blow out cold air. I hope this helps you out.

I fully charged the air. It reads full. But the compressor kicks on and off every 10 seconds. And the air is warm. I used Artic Freeze Ultra Synthetic R-134A It came with a gauge assembly.

Overcharging your a/c will cause it to blow hot .The on and of issue may be caused by the High pressure cycling switch . overcharging may be the culprit as well. you need to find out how much r134-a your system takes .

Air conditioner blows hot air fully charged with

compressor or receiver/dryer or condensor may need to be replaced. Further testing will have to be done. Look into your sight glass and see if there is any bubbles in the glass, or if glass is extremely foggy. If so, you may have air in the system. Check to make sure you are getting power to the compressor.
