Code po133 o2 sensor 96 volvo 850 wagon

Front oxygen sensor code. Check the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator and make sure it is ok before you replace the sensor. Any vacuum leak can also cause the code.

What does the "service engine now" light mean?

Keep in mind that two warning there, Check Engine and Service Engine Soon; Check Engine means there is a malfunction... Service Soon is reprogrammable, when you change you oil.

"Check Engine" are refer to the emission codes, but not always. I suggest visit some autozone ot autoshop with scan tools or "reader code" to know exactly what fault code is stored there. With this code number we could send you additional details.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

Service engine soon light is blinking, runs rough, light "ticking" at low RPM. seems to run O.K. at 40 to 60mph.

When the check engine light is on, that means there's a problem that should be checked. When the light is flashing, the system beleives that something serious is wrong and if you continue to drive the car, you could cause serious damage. That being said...

You need to go to the dealer or find an auto parts store that will scan your car for free to get the OBD2 codes. AutoZone does it for free. The code(s) may give you any idea of what is wrong and possible sloutions.

Here is a website with the codes and definitions:

Check Engine Soon light has come on. How do I check for codes?

Take the car to an autozone and they can read the trouble codes stored in the computer.

If you do not want to go to autozone, take the car to a dealership and the codes can be read by a qualified mechanic. the check engine light means a trouble code has been stored in the vehicles computer.

No power to 02 sensers

This is highly unlikely. Check grounds first.
Are you saying the heater circuit is not powered?
Is Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light on? IF yes, go to Autozone and get DTC Codes free and report back.

My service engine soon light came on my fluids are up to par , my engine is shaking when it is on, the engine did not do this before the service soon light came on

misfire likely, but please have the car scanned for trouble codes and report them back to us. Many parts stores, such as autozone and advance will perform a free scan for you.

What does it mean when your check engine light come on? I have check the oil. The light stys on as soon as your crak up and stay on until you ture the car off.

SOme sort of failure has been detected by the on-board computer. Simplest solution is to take it to an auto parts store, (autozone will normally do this for free) and let them hook up a diagnostic tool. They can give you a printout with the codes and a description of the problem. If not self-explanatory, report the codes and description back here.

Service Engine soon light Code P0133

I just came from an Autozone, and then spoke with 2 Hyundai dealership service departments and they all three stated the P0113 code is the Intake Air Temperature sensor (IAT, also referred to as the Mass Air Pressure - MAP - sensor) on the engine, not an O2 sensor found in the exhaust system.

In a Saturn SL2 1998, I have the check engine soon light on. The codes readings show P0133 and P0422.

P0133 is an oxygen sensor "response too slow" code (meaning it's not getting up to temperature quickly enough, and the computer is assuming damage to its heating element). P0422 is a catalytic converter problem indication (cat is below peak efficiency). It's assuming you have a failure with the primary O2 sensor and that the cat is also bad. Change your O2 sensor first, have the codes cleared, and see if the cat code comes back or if the O2 sensor change fixes both issues.
