Fuse #21 is a 15A that covers the interior lights, cigarette lighter, and clock. Are those other items also not working? If so, it is very likely the fuse. If you're connecting something like a cell-phone charger to the cig lighter port, that might be causing a short to blow the fuse...

SOURCE: need to program/link garage door opener with the one on the visor in the car

Depending on the name brand of the garage door opener, there is a button on it you press and you have about 30 seconds to set the button in the car to the signal. Read you car manual on how to set the visor opener, probably press and hold the button in after pressing the button on the garage door opener motor. Get someone to help you in the garage on a ladder. Mine is a Sears and this is how it works.

How to program the garage door opener

Hold down the 2 outer buttons until the red light flashes (20-30 seconds) and release.
Select one of the 3 buttons you want to program and press that button.
Hold the handheld transmitter 1-2 inches from the visor transmitter.
Using 2 hands, press and hold the button on the handheld remote and the visor remote at the same time.
Continue to hold both buttons until the red light on the universal transmitter flashes first slowly then rapidly.
Release both buttons when the rapid flashing begins.
The transmitter is now programmed.
Note that if the remote doesn't open the garage door, your opener may have a "rolling code" or "code protected " feature.
If your opener has a rolling code feature then you will have to train the opener to accept the visor transmitter. See the owners manual for the opener.
I hope this helps you out. I do not have this feature in my car, I took the instructions from a ford manual. The manual also gives a phone number to call if you have problems 1-800-355-3515 (Homelink). I don't know if this number is still good or not. It can't hurt to try it out. Good Luck!

I broke the vizer ligthbulb it sounded like a fuse blew and now the dome and map lights don't work and I changed the fuse is there another fuse ?

Do you have the owners manual for the vehicle? That should show where all the fuses are. There may be more than one fuse for the dome lights but, I doubt it. Did you replace the visor bulb or take it completely out so it doesn't continue to blow fuse after fuse?

Electric locks, dome and visor lights don't work

You have a bad fuse. Break out the little owners manual and check out the fuse section or just manually pull each fuse, one at a time, and check them. Simplest way would be to just replace them all. $10. 10 minutes. Also could be two unrelated problems. The lights might be turned off at the interior light dimmer switch but that will usually turn the gauge (speedometer etc..) lights off too. If none of the door locks work from any of the buttons then it's pretty definately their fuse. You can't always tell if the fuse is good by looking either. Usually, but not 100% of the time.

How do I program the garage door opener on the sun visor?

Directions are in your owners manual. Most are done by holding down the sun visors button until it flashes, then hold your opener next to the visor and push your openers button.
