Question about 1999 Chevrolet K1500
Have the battery load tested....most likely bad connections on battery cables...bad starters usually only click once...a series of fast clicks usually means voltage but no amperage going to started...check battery cables

Have your starter checked. if all it does when you turn the key is click but won't start and ou still have all your power than your starter is bad. you might be able to tack a hammer and SLIGHTLY tap the bottom of the starter to get it to start but that won't last long.
