Having 3 codes, does not mean you have 3 problems

Only the repair shop you choose, can quote a price

There is no price until you find the issues

I'm buying a used truck/SUV. It disclosed an engine light code p0128. My question is it more expensive to purchase parts & repair myself. Or would it be worth having a mechanic fix it & look it over?

It depends on the vehicle. 9 times out of 10 this code means the thermostat has failed, of course I'd try that first. I do not know what mechanical skills you possess or what type of vehicle you're asking , so I can't really answer the second part of the question. Some tstas are easy, other ones require a lot of work.

2012 routan fault code p0441

p0441 and no others.? Routan? "Chinese word?"
or a car by that name posted in a SUzuki forum????
2004 or 2012? why post 2 years? how odd that.....
does that mean you have a scan tool?
ill pretend car not stated, nor what country.
and answer with USA federal p0441 codes... we invented it so....

this codes is EVAP failure.
that means in bar stool language, the tank vapor venting system.
is no longer contained, (breached ) or means its failing, for other reasons.
what to do is this, tighten the gas cap, clear the code and see if it comes back , if it repeats try a new cap.
if repeats again (note cheap to expensive fixes)
get the EVAP system pressure tested. (yes, all shops do this)
if this passes we then test the EVAP solenoids, next.

Yes they are you can only have one code, one of them is a function code the others are logic you will need to determine this out P0715 Input turbine speed circuit. P0456 evap control. P0128 coolant thermostat malfunction. P0441 Evap control incorrect purge. Here is the fix to begin with the eavp codes the P04xx is recalled by Kia so let them deal with that, Have all thhe codes cleared the main code you will need to be concerned with is the transmission code, check the fluid condition and level, also make sure that you have coolant in the radiator or water and fill the radiator resovoir, (okay to over fill it)

Not your typical fix for P0441 already tried them. Any help??????

the hessitating could be plugs or HT leads breaking down, a lose connection or even a fuel starvation problem(partial blockage in fuel system) or even dirty fuel. Or damp in HT cap. there could even be a blockage in the pipe that runs between the air filter and the inlet manifold, condensation builds up in the pipe and gets sucked into the pistons causing a misfire and will go away as quickly as it starts.
I suggest checking all the air pipes for blockages, renewing plugs, leads and cap. also put some fuel system cleaner through.
I tend to do all in turn and start with the cheapest options.
