Should be a bad alignment. Look at the front tires. If they are worn out unevenly, like the inner side or the outer side only then you need to do an alignment.

Front is making noise when I turn

Check your wheel bearings and ball joints. Checking the wheel bearings: stand next to the front tire, crouch down, put your hands on the top of the tire, and try to rock the top of the tire by pushing the top of the tire away from you and pulling the top of the tire toward you (rock it hard and fast). do both front tires. Any noise or sideways movement of the tire is bad, (Bearings are worn) and needs to be repaired. Then, stand at the front corner of the car, and push down on the front corner of the car repeatedly (rocking the corner of the car up and down (Rock it up and down Hard) If you hear the popping noise your ball joints need to be replaced. If these tests don't work but you still get the popping noise when you drive, take the car to a mechanic. Popping noises from the front end of a car is dangerous. If anything happens up there, you could lose your steering!

Steering wheel moves side to side and up and down, there is also a groaning sound when turning corners

It sounds like the steering column bearings are loose or worn out, a full tear-down and inspection is required before any parts are replaced, it may be easier to just buy a good used steering column.

Steering pulses on cornering

That could be several different thing;s a slipping belt ;bad tire loose or worn tie rod inner or outer front alignment .I would have professional like an older mechanic to look at it they are usually less expensive as they do not tend to just replace partsJohnny

Right turn indicator sounds as if its pulsing twice as fast as the left

Put it on, check Front Headlight/Corner Light and Tail Light, you might have to change a bulb, you'll see where the bulb is blown and replace it !

Can you tell me why my volvo 850 t5 estate the steering is very heavy, plenty of steering fluid? sudenly becomes heavy, will then go back to normal then heavy again.

sounds like your power steering is failing, get it checked at a garage asap, steering is important when going fast :), probably needs steering wheel taken apart and power steering components checked for wear/damage.
