you need to clean the crankcase breather its in 2 parts 1 behind the manifold big job but most times its the filter its attached to the crankase breather where it runs into the air intake at the throttle valve its got a small vac.hose on it and a large hose with a wire filter inside you give it half a turn and it comes out its always glogged solid you can clean it with solvent or buy a new one it fixes the problem most times

My 95 gle volvo keeps over pressuring in the motor and oil keeps overflowing from engine oil cap

Could be a plugged PCV (positive crankcase ventilator) valve. Cheap and easy to replace.

Could also be lots of other things such as excessive blowby caused by bad piston rings or a cracked piston or damaged cylinder head allowing compression in one cylinder to leak into an adjoining cylinder.

In any case, don't continue driving until you address this. You could turn a minor problem into the need for a new engine.

Pcv valve I changed the head gasket in my 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5s and did a oil change and I had the oil filler cap off when I started it and it oil came out the filler

Oil supply to the overhead camshaft and valve gear is fairly vigorous and so some spray from there is to be expected without the filler cap.

Unlikely a problem with the pcv valve - they rarely give trouble unless seriously gummed up with carbon-type deposits and then a thorough clean mostly restores them.

Honfa acord blowing oil out tailpipe

It sounds like you might have a blown head gasket, bad valve seals, worn/broken rings, or a bad PCV valve/filter. Remove the oil filler cap and check how much air comes out. If a lot of air is coming out of the oil filler hole, you might have bad rings. The PCV valve helps to take the crankcase gasses (blowby from the rings) and run them through the combustion system to burn them. The most likely cause is a blown head gasket. The high pressure oil is leaking through the head gasket directly into one of the engine cylinders. Check each of the spark plugs to see if one of them is much dirtier than the others. A bad intake valve seal could also do the same thing, although probably not as bad.

I have a 97 jeep grand Cherokee. I start it and it misses every so may secs. Almost like a chug in reverse and drive its worse taking off. Always fine when I'm giving it gas. Some times it runs fi

Have you replaced the pcv line correctly. Is the oil filler cap tight and sealing correctly. Check for broken cracked vacuum lines that you may have moved in removing the rocker cover.

Bmw 318i oil leak

make sure that the filler cap seal is in place and not gone hard over time also has the rocker cover been off at some stage if it has check that the gasket has not moved the other thing to look out for is that the PCV (breather )valve is in good working order if it is damaged the sump compression will rise and push oil out
