The alternator charge rate is controlled by the computer so something is amiss ,now their is a seperate fuse for the alternator control somewhere so look for it as it should be a 7.5 amp red fuse ,if this is ok then convert alternator back to batttery sensed only if its not charging ,providing its charging ok then ignore fault and leave well alone ,if its not charging then connect the wire for the ECM from the back of the alternator by cutting it near alternator and connecting it to ignition sensed circuit in the power distribution box under the bonnet .

Maybe, maybe not. An automobile ECM has no internal battery and uses the battery under the hood for power. Check the battery to make sure the connections are tight and secure. A computer ECM does have a battery and it is located on the mother board. Simply remove and replace it with like kind.

P0446 EVAPORATIVE EMISSION VENT CONTROL CIRCUIT

DTC P0446 - Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit Malfunction
Evap vent valve has only one purpose. It closes in order to seal the vent so the EVAP system can pressurize and ensure there are no leaks. Evap vent valve is usually supplied Batt. voltage with key on. The ECM's driver controls the ground, and when grounded, activates the valve (closing it). If the ECM detects a short to ground, and open,or a short to battery voltage on the control circuit, P0446 will set. Code also may refer to ECM detecting that EVAP system is unable to achieve or maintain vacuum during test. There will be no obvious symptoms to driver, other than MIL illumination.

A code P0446 could mean one or more of the following has happened:
Faulty vent valve
Open, short or excessive resistance on Vent valve control circuit
Blockage of vent valve
Bad PCM

With a P0446 OBD-II trouble code, here are some things to try:
Replace Vent valve
Repair open, short, or resistance problem in control circuit
Repair open, or short, or resistance problem in power circuit
Replace PCM

Hope this helps (remember to rating this free answer and leave us some testimonial comment).

No, the car is giving codes P0456 and P0440. Can you tell me what they are?

Now , did you just get gas? remove the gas cap, and have it checked, tighten it down good,, have the codes cleared, and then check for codes again,, this may be all it is ,,,

Hyundai diesel has a problem in the throttle i have cod P 201

P0201 - Injector Circuit Malfunction Cylinder 1

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or Electronic Control Module (ECM) checks the injectors circuit resistance and monitors the voltage drop during normal operation. The PCM/ECM will trigger the P0201 code when the resistance or voltage drop at the injector #1 is out of specifications.

Causes:
- Open or shorted wiring harness to the injector #1
- Bad injector #1
- Bad PCM or ECM

Solutions:
- If damaged, repair injector wire harness or connector
- Replace injector
- Replace PCM or ECM

ECM BATT fuse keeps blowing

That fuse provides power for the fuel pump. Either your fuel pump is blowing the fuse or there is a shorted wire.
