Question about 2004 Toyota Sienna
This happened to me too. I had to remove the inside trim/handle cover to access all the levers that open the door. Toward the top of the collection of levers is one that releases the door from the "locked" position. I'm not sure what the permanent fix is for the problem...I still manually release the lever each time I need to open the door.
