Question about Isuzu Pickup

I have an Isuzu dmax with commonrail engine 3.0. now the mechanic said it has nozzle problem due to dirty diesel etc. Can such nozzle being repaired or I need to replace it with new ones.

Try fuel filter's first, drain gas, add new gas prime the pump and start add fuel dry. most times its just bad gas or water . injectors do go bad but try every thing else first. need more info on what its doing

My 2015 Isuzu Dmax 3 litre diesel auto 4x4 dual cab done 22500km is and has always used engine oil. Currently after 12000 km oil is down dipstick by 30-35mm. Total k's 22500. No towing is it normal


Its not normal to use any noticeable amount of oil between services these day's.

I would contact the dealership you purchased the vehicle from, and inform them of the oil consumption, they will have you monitor the level for a period of time.

Also, have you been using the correct grade of engine oil.

I would also check your turbo oil seals, and general check of engine for leakage.

Is the engine being filled with correct amount of oil, as some dipsticks can be out of calibration, causing overfilling and oil consumption down to correct level, something to check also.

I have an Isuzu kb 350 and has a broken timing belt and now is failing to start because of not sure of piston position in relation to dual camshafts


be VERY careful! Most engines are interference motors and a bust timing belt results in catastrophic failure when the valves contact the pistons because they are out of sync!

Timing belts usually come with markings - you would almost certainly find the compression TDC for cylinder 1 (not exhaust TDC - if the air blows thru plug hole when piston is rising its compression - if the air is NOT blowing out plug hole its exhaust tdc - rotate once more).

Now you will have to find the timing marks on the camshaft(s) and set according to the manual.

what car. ? KB250 sounds Australian? is it? we cant guess country
South Africa?
4JK1-TCX (this engine?) (google searches do little there , zero)

A pickup truck.with 2.5L diesel. with direct injection?
and our books (this is USA forum) dont cover AUZ cars.
what year.? 2007 to now? (but what?)

we cant look it for you.
why not stated, country. first. then full engine name. all letters.

what if?
and what if they changed to TTY bolts, in say 2008,..
so what is TTY, its torque to yield. (use one time)
or the changed from KG torque, to degree's from hand tight. methods, and he pattern , do you need the pattern to torque, sure.

I have Isuzu dmax it has a problem with starting In the morning it starts good when the glow plugs come on but after it has parked for 2 or3 hours it has to crank for about 3 min before the engine will...


what is the VIN
what is true engine name, gas or diesel and size.
what country. (tells me fueling systems)
did you check all fuses, i bet you dont know how to really test glow plugs only the see a light glow is not going to work.
so are glow plugs really working, proper voltage at them and right current flow (a meter works here, amps , using amp clamp)
filters clean.
scan it?

I need a part number for an injector pump for an isuzu dmax with a 4jh1 engine


Not really familiar with this vehicle, but being a 2004, probably does't have an injection pump.Probably a common rail, with a hight pressure oil pump. Best to have it checked by qualified diesel tech as replacing parts can be time consuming and expensive.
