Looking at engine from front of the car , to the left of the exhaust manifold there will be a flat peice of engine block with the engine code stamped onto it. You will either see d16a1, d16a2, etc. that is the 1.6L SOHC engine. Some of the imported and Si models had the b16a2 . that is the DOHC

Go to your local library and ask the Librarian to get you on-line to the Automotive Repair Reference Center, and then to the EBSCO database...you will find all of your wiring diagrams there.

What is the rocker arm torque (ft/lbs.) for a 1995 honda civic dx with 1.5 16 valve ?


OK here you go. there are three different engine codes for that model and engine size. first is the D15Z1. This one is 14ft.lbs. Then you have D15B7 and D15B8 these two are the same at 16ft.lbs.

I would suggest you check your drivebelt/fanbelt tension and waterpump.
