Some of these had an access cover under the rear seat(the part you sit on),if you remove this, there should be a cover in the floor board that you remove, and you should see the top of the fuel pump assembly.disconnect the hoses(be careful fuel pressure may still be in the lines).disconnect the electrical wires, remove screws holding unit in gas tank remove pump assembly.transfer necessary components and reverse removal.if there is no access cover then you will have to drop the fuel tank taking care of the wiring and fuel lines.the procedure is the same as above to replace pump.change the fuel filter.

SOURCE: looking for the fuel pump relay or sensor

The Fuel pump relay is part of the EFI main relay and can not be replaced separately. The EFI main relay is located behind the dash, left of the steering wheel.

SOURCE: 1998 Honda Accord EX sputters for first 30 - 45 seconds

have the compression checked its likely a head gasket is leaking and letting antifreeze back in the cylinder when you turn off the engine radiator would also be a lttle low

you need to unplug the fuel pump, then empty the tank, now undo the fuel lines at the tank, then you will need to drop the fuel tank...doing this will expose the pump... unbolt it from the tank and pull it out.. put ithe new one back in then put everything back in..

1991 honda accord ex getting no electrical current to fuel pump.what else to check?

most common is the fuel pump kill relay under dash on left side I believe. I think its under the coin tray. This was a common fail item. local honda dealer or possibly parts store will have it.

How to reset fuel pump on 1999 honda accord a/t?, after a repair on fuel pump car idling is poor and seems like to stall if gas pedal is pressed.

I replaced the pump on my 1999 Accord EX V6 and didn't have to reset a thing. The only problem is that the low fuel light doesn't come on every time it should. The poor idling sounds like a different problem like your TPS or the IAC solenoids. Have your local parts store pull codes for you for free if you have a check engine light on.
