You don`t say what type of fuel system you have, carburetor or fuel injection, throttle body or port fuel injection system.this determines the type of repair.if it is port fuel injection then you cannot repair with a hose,it must be repaired with a steel line as the fuel pressure is above 30lbs pressure and rubber hose is not strong enough for the can replace the section of line that is bad with a new steel line connected to a good section.if it`s carburetor the pressure is only about 6 to 8lbs pressure, and a hose can make the repair.if it`s throttle body then the pressure can range anywhere from 15 to about 20lbs pressure, this can be repaired with fuel injection gas hose,so you can see it makes a difference what system you have.any rubber hose used must be a fuel line hose not just any rubber hose.

Why is fuel leaking from behind rear driver side wheel?

Paul; You probably have found the leak, which was a repair made by somebody else in the past. Ensure leak, rusted out, or crack is cut out of steel line before making below repair and follow all safety precaution when working around flammable fuels.
To do a cheap repair which is not necessarily the best remove and replace existing hose and clamps. Go get a length, enough (high pressure) rubber fuel hose, (4 gear clamps) to put over hose to double clamp connections on both ends of hose. This repair could last the life of the car easily.

Dodge transmission return line leak

The return line is not under pressure so a rubber gas line can be use to fix the leak. Depending on where, cut the leaking section out and bridge the space with gas line and 2 small hose clamps.

My car gas line broke and gas gushed out

if you can get to the break in the line you can do this your self for under $15.
get a tube cutter and cut the bad section of line out next take that section to the part store and ask them for fuel injection hose This is for high pressure fuel line and will work great for you) and fuel ingection hose clamps. now just slide the hose over the line at least an inch and use two clamps on each side of the hose.start the car and make sure it didn't leak. if no kleaks make sure the line is not hanging down. if so then tie them up with zip ties and your all done.

Is this car not still under warranty? Take it to your Hyundai dealer for repair unless it is out of warranty. In that case replace the upper hose or possible use a different type hose clamp.
