The easiest way to do this is to turn the ignition on with the engine off. Then fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly 3 times withing 5 seconds. The change oil light should flash.

04 Trailblazer oil percent at 23 percent. I changed the oil and reset it now it's says 100 percent, I turn off vehicle and turn back on and it says 23 percent again and again.

Just a Gadget-forget about it,
don't need it

You change your oil when you want to

I would suggest every 4,500 miles

3 or 4 times a year

Nothing there tied to the vehicle oil

This means you are risking ruining the engine if you try to drive it that way. Check your oil levels.

The sending unit is not very expensive. Your options are to replace it and see if the new one works or have someone use an external oil pressure gauge and check the pressure through the fitting the oil pressure sender attaches to.

Oil pumps do wear out. Oil pressure is also dependent on the bearing clearance. If the bearings are too sloppy, internally the oil will run out and not pressurize.

Why does the dash lights go off on a 1995 Chevy impilla ss when you turn on the head lights?

Dash lights may be adjusted to lowest dim setting. Try adjusting dash lights by turning knob if so equipped clockwise or if it has a dial move it upward.

Oil lighton

If the engine is not making any noise then more than likely the oil pressure sending unit that operates the light is defective. If the engine is making noise after running a few minutes then you have either an oil pump pressure problem or you have a worn engine bearing. You have not provided the make, model and year and engine type so that is about as much as I can provide.

The reset button on the drivers side fuse box does not turn off the change oil lighton the 2002 pontiac grand am se

I don't know if this will work for you, but you might want to try what works for other vehicles turn the ignition key to the run position not start push down on the gas pedal three times slow then turn off the key. Again, this works for several other GM vehicles, hopefully it works for yours.

How do i change the head lighton the driver side of a 2002 pontiac grad prix ? what all need's to come off ?

Look between the battery and gril there will be ablack knob like turn it to the left and pull out when replacing the bulb try not to touch it with bear hands. the oils will make it burn out faster. If it is a seal beam then look for the screws on the out side of the light and remove them then headlight will come out forward and unplug it.
