Please help i think its my pc

I have a 2002 dodge itrepid. the engine came on i took it in had it diagnosed they said it was my O2 censor. i had that fixed and the engine light came back on so i took it to the dealership and they said i was the pc. my car was still under warranty for the pc. they put the first on and it didnt take so they replaced it with another one. left dealership and the light came back on..Now the car shakes and when you step on the gas at time it doesent go. it seems to take a minute or so before it catches and then just takes it back they said that my harness was broken and they wont fix it because they believe the didnt break it. we took it somewhere else they fixed the harness and put in a new fuel filter. after that the car keep over heating took it back in and had to get a new intake hose because the other one was erroded. we also had a full tune up done. and once again the car is shaking bad even when the car is parked it shakes and the engine light blinks. sometime the car will even back fire and thats new. even when you push on the pedal it still takes awhile for it to catch and have the car pick up speed. i have a feeling that its the computer is faulty and thats whats causing the problem, because every code that comes up we get it fixed and it never seems to solve the problem. what else can we replace and fix? and the car is getting worse as we speak...Please help me!!

When the engine light blinks it normally indicates that there is danger to the catalytic converter check the map sensor and both o2 sensors again and also check to see if the converter is clogged

Will to much oil in the engine cause the o2 censor to send code P0421. saturn l300 2002

No, but fix the oil level before you damage the engine.
The code is the O2 sensor , past the catalytic converter, either you have a fouled spark plug, a bad converter , or a bad O2 sensor.

I was driving my 06 Dodge Magnum at approximately 60 MPH & the Check Engine Light comes on. What could be my problem(s). Gas cap is properly secured...

It sounds like an O2 censor, If it happens when your around that speed it could be the map censor or the 02 censor. You need to go to a garage and have them hook it up to find out which 02 censor is causing it.

My Service Engine Soon light came on about a year ago. I took it into the shop and got that problem fixed but the light stayed on, so I took it to advance auto parts and code tested it and it said that...

There are several types of O2 Sensor codes. There can be "Lean O2 Sensor" codes, "Rich O2 Sensor" codes, "O2 Sensor Slow Response" codes, or "O2sensor Heater Circuit" codes. The specific code that is being set changes the way you must go about diagnosing and repairing the problem. I will say however, that in about 80% of all the O2 Sensor code problems that I have had to diagnose, the O2 Sensor itself was NOT the problem. The O2 Sensor was only reporting a problem that was actually caused elsewhere. O2 Sensors are the final checkpoint in the engine management system. I think of them like a report card. If the O2 Sensors are right, the rest of the engine management system is right. If the O2 Sensors are not right, the rest of the engine management system is probably not right. (Except in the 20% of the cases where the problem is actually being caused by a failed O2 Sensor)

Check engine light code P031 for 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, what does it mean?

Dear Madam or Sir,

the code stands for:

Heated Oxigen Sensor1, Bank 1, Heater Control - circuit low.

So the heating of the O2 Sensor is faulty, you should see a mechanic to fix it.

My check engine light came on and the dealer diagnosed it as the 02 censor. They said it would cost 800 bucks to do it. Is this realistic? It seems very expensive, I know there is 2 censors, is one...

no why is it 800 bucks. i charge 150.00 at my shop for 1 o2 sensor. now there is issue's with their catilistic convertor and thats a 800 dollar job. but the deal is always crazy. something don't sound right and i would take it to a local shop to get a second opion.

Engine warning light on Mazda MPV 2002

There seem to be 4 sensors along the way in the air intake and emissions system.

My Check Engine light indicated a bad sensor 1, bank 2 code (I think).

I had my mechanic replace the sensor that was indicated as faulty... cost = $191.

Then the Check Engine light came on again (with a different code), and I had to leave the van with him all day.

Cost to replace and install that sensor = $115.

My advice: if the Check Engine light stays on *AND* your vehicle is riding rough, get it fixed.

Otherwise, put a piece of tape over that Check Engine light and save a couple hundred dollars!

Hope this helps, I do trust my mechanic fully.

O2 sensor

are you sure that it is still the O2 censor? are you assuming because the check engine light is still on? because you have to reset it after fixing something you just disconnect your battery completely for a bit like 15mins and then reconnect it and the light should go away.
