The most common problem with blower motors if not the fuse is the blower resistor that controls all the blower speeds.the resistor is located in the heater air box near the blower motor and there is usually about 4 wires in the plug.

2006 I-280. Why does A/C blow cold air only on high speed?

check fuse first
then scan PCM , oops you didnt and the BCM does run this stuff.
so not scanning it , you miss all those FACTS.

the blower is dead. (aka , not spinning , or silent)
on all cars made the answer is the same.
blown fuse, fuse marked BLower, is blown. LOL.
controls not turning it on, controls failure.
blower bad. (motor) hot wire it in place to test)
wires to any of the above.
or the resistor block bad, (if it works on high but not low)
i have the schmematic in hand.

the HVAC relay pulls in by command of the BCM
the relay then sends 12vdc power to the blower via fuse 41
the blower is now hot full time.
the blower then needs a ground to spin (run)
on high, the ground G601 via the speed knob, switch makes that ground connection, so if the fan dont spin and say the fan is ok
then the relay is not closing or the fuse 41 is blown. (why not look at the fuse first for all electric fails)
the BCM sees you, turn fan on, (heat or cold)
and closes this relay, on the left.
if the relay does not close, (and coil is ok inside)
the the BCM didnt see those HVAC requests.
use a scan tool and look for BCM errors..>??????

2000 Ford F250 Disel: Nothing works on the panel for the a/c heater. The fan does nothing when you change speed there is nothing that comes out, there isnt any heat or cool, and when you turn the dial...

Pull the wires from the blower. Throw 12 volts and a ground to it(red is B+). If it comes on, it is good. Replace the controller. If it was the relay, some sort of blower speed would have happened. There are other wires to check, but you would have to loose other things to go this direction. Like accessory and ignition.

try checking the fuses the fuse for the heater may be blown. Its usually found in the fuse box on the drivers side under the dash or on the end of the dash.It should be labeled on the cover which fuse it is going to be.If not there check your owners manual under fuses and relays and it should tell you there to

Heater/defrost/ac does not blow in my 2006 tacoma. worked this morning, parked at work, came out half hour later and would not work.

what has most likely happened is that a fuse has blown that is in your blower fan circuit. Check your owners manual, and see if there is a fuse to that system, if there is, check and see if it is blown. If it isn't, then the problem could either be your blower fan itself, or your blower motor resistor. Generally, when the blower fan goes bad, no speeds of the fan work. When the Blower motor resistor goes bad, usually only 1 speed of the fan works. Try the first suggestion i gave, and it everything checks out in the fuse box, then try all of your fan speeds. If one works, you need a blower motor resistor, if none work, then it is most likely your fan. Let me know how it goes and i'll do my best to assist you further. good luck.

Blower Motor doesn't work in Heat or AC in a 1999 Ford F250 Super Duty.

If it is not workring at all, including all speeds then i would say blower motor is broke and needs replaced. But first check your fuse panel for a blown fues. It is located under your steering column. Your book will tell you which fuse runs it. Then try unhooking the wire harness from the blower motor so that the motor is not connected to anything. Run a groung wire to the ground side and a hot 12 Positive wire to the other wire and see if it comes on. If it does not then replace it. If it does then you need to look elsewhere.... IE switch, resistor pack relay, or even possibly wiring.

Heater blower not working could it be fuse or relay as heat still coming through

Yes, it could be. If you have checked fuses and none of them are blown, check the passenger kick panel and if you see a relay with a little hole in the middle, push a needle/pin though it to reset.

the sending unit could not have power or the fuse could be burnt out. Sometimes the sending unit does get stuck.

2001 buick lesabre. my heater and a/c blower is not working

I believed the a/c blower is a relay activated. So no fuse getting blown to make it to go bad. Try to locate such relay (the ID label is found inside the relay cover assembly). Swap it with an identical one before making a trip to auto part store.
