If you have fluid that is only leaking from the abs unit and the brake lines are all tight and not leaking at the unit then you have an abs unit leak and it will have to be replaced and bleed as well as the entire system should be bled to get all the air out.the unit may have to be bled by the use of a scan tool with the capablility to bleed the unit electronically

ABS light comes on in a 1996 pontiac sunfire

usually that means your low on brake fluid, check and add first, also make sure the cap is screwed on and secure. If the light still is on, try shutting off traction control if you have it, drive on some gravel and see if you can hear your brakes winding.
I have a 99 pont bonneville, abs light was on, fluid was full, took off my front two tires, there is a sensor i cleaned out with contact cleaner, and it worked. hope this helps.

My brake light is on and it keeps ding ding dinging and its very anoying because the E-brake is off. my problem is i lost the cover for my fuse box under the dash, so i dont know what one to pull to stop...

First, do not attempt to bypass a safety related issue by pulling a fuse. The brake light and alarm signal is performing it's designed function by indicating a fault that needs to be corrected.

Check the brake system completely. The Brake fluid level sensor could be low. Now rather than just add fluid, keep in mind that the level may be low because the brakes are worn. Worn pads & shoes cause the calipers to extend which requires additional fluid, causing a "low" fluid level.

Also check to ensure the ABS sensors are OK.

94 bonneville with dinging noise

Which light is on ? The ABS light or regular Brake light?
If ABS light is on, your ABS is currently not working and it might be an electrical problem.
If the regular brake light is on something is wrong with the hydralics in the brake system. Either way bring it in ASAP. Good luck

1995 pontiac bonneville brack system warning light and chime on.

Be aware that if the (BRAKE!) light is on you are probably low on brake fluid and while your brakes are still working properly, there is a possible fluid leak somewhere that is going to causse them to not work at all. When this light is on it is serious. Although the sensor in the master cylinder that tells this light to come on is probably the answer, as they tend to malfunction in your vehicle. Check your brake fluid immediately, and fill it if it is legitimately low.
If the (ABS) brake light is on it is probably an ABS speed sensor in the vehicle that is bad, If the abs light is on have a service center do a diagnostic scan to verify which sensor is bad.

Traction control, brake, and Antilock lights...

it is from a bad wheel speed sensor. The abs, traction control and other systems use the sensor.the various codes are for various system failures. The root cause is the sensor.

Brakes mushy, fluid a little bit low, but filled

if you can not find a leak then try to bleed your brakes somtimes thell loose pressure but if your fluid goes low then you most likey have a leak the smallest hole anywhere in the brake system will cause this
