You will need the serial number off the radio and the VIN of the car and then see your local dealer or use this site.

I have an 2012 chrysler 200. i recently had to replace the radio. it was purchased off of ebay. i have thevehicles registration and radios serial number how do i retreive the security code

The code is unique to each radio. You will need to show proof of purchase and the radio serial number to a Chrysler dealer to get the unlock code for the radio you purchased.

Radio not working after dead battery was jump started

You need a code that can be retreive by the dealer only.
Each Radio has its own unique code.
It should be for free but worse case senario, dealer might charge you $45.00

General Motors dealers do this by retreiving the code through the cars serial number and charge you a fist full of dollars

Need radio unlock code 99 olds aurora

They are all random codes that are stored in the radio. The radio can lock it's self with possible 10.000 differant codes. You will need to take it to the dealer to have them use the gm scaner to retreive the code that is in the radio then they call the gm headquarters and those egg heads give an unlock code for the car. All of the make since?

I have purchased a stock replacment radio for my H3 on ebay. How do i retreive the unlock codes once i install the radio with out having to pay a dealer $100 for 15munites of work?

Make friends with a Hummer tech, you're only other option. Unlock codes vary with serial number ranges so you'd never know without access to the database. Would be easier (and cheaper) of it was an aftermarket unit.

1195 honda radio

Your best bet is with the dealer. I had the same issue and decided to call the manufacturer. I needed to take the radio in and was given a code.
