Question about 2005 Subaru Outback

Clock information display of my Subaru Outback, 2005 is not working properly. The ligth is gone, however the brigth buttom still function. Question: Do we need to replace it or we can fix it.

Clock display flashes a 9 in a sort of inverted commas. What's going on?


There is much written about these clocks failing on the Subaru forums. The fix for most is to repair bad solder joints inside the clock, or replace the clock.

Headlights won' turn on on a 2006 subaru outback marker lights work


2006 Subaru Liberty 3.0 Blitzen, 52,000kms. It's unbelievable, both my low beams went out at once and when I checked it was both the globes had gone at once. Never has this happened on any other vehicle before, I've ordered a HID conversion kit over the net, hope that works well.

If your talking about replacing your Forester Clock module, you can find helpful tips at www.subaru-clock.com. If your clock is not working, it is most likely the clock module, which can be refurbished inexpensively at the aforementioned site.
