Question about 2010 GMC Terrain

1 Answer

Clock will not stay reset. I tried to reset the clock for daylights savings. I am able to reset the time using the controls, however, when I leave the truck and then come back and start it agaiin, the time returns to the old time. I do not know if this is an electronic glitch or what is going on (fyi - I have the full entertainment package system; every possible bell and whisle that the 2010 Terrain offers, every upgrade, I have it). This very annoying !! Help me please !!!

Its possible that you forgetted the last "enter" after to re-settign the clock? If you recetly upgrade this device, I suggest applied underwarranty system before to take off something.

How to change the time in a Honda CRV Japanese 2007

You have to be in map mode, then hit setup button -> more(on the top screen) -> clock settings.
Auto clock adjustment for this year doesn't work, because they changed when Daylight Savings time occurs after this model year.

How do I get the clock to keep the daylight savings time and not revert when I restart the car?

set the time 1 hour fast as if you are setting the clock . So instead of setting it on 12 midday set it at 1 pm even though it is midday.. clocks do not know any different.

How do i set the clock on a 2010 GMC Terrain. I went by the manual but it doesn't stay set.

Check for a daylight savings on/off setting in the user setup. Once you set it, cycle the key and see if it stays.

Set clock

So just to sumarize--when you press the INFO Button and select ADJUST CLOCK, for this time of year --Winter--set Daylight Savings Time to OFF--that will immediatly move your clock back 1 hour. All that selection does is just toggle 1-hour ahead and back--but it doesn't automatically select when DST is in use. Then select AUTO ADJUST to ON and leave it there; this will make sure your clock is always locked to GPS and is always accurate.

Daylight savings time ended and I need to reset my clock.

Turn the igniton to the "on" position. The radio should have two small buttons on it marked H (for hours) and M (for minutes). Press and hold the H button for a few seconds and the clock will go into a "set" mode. adjust the hours until the time is correct and then let go of the button and you will be all set.
