Providing its not rust then put jack under front end of the seal ,if you have a trolley jack then go for chassis a bit further under ,but i dont think you get much of a corrosion problem in aussie unlike the UK or germany

You may have a plugged AC water condensation drain hole, it drains under the car at the base of the engine bulkhead on the passenger's side.

Car is stuck in my front yard and the ground is soft

I suppose that you have the steering wheels on full lock at the same time as trying to drive it out . Well rear tyres in mud do not make the best traction for front wheel ploughs . Only turn the front wheels slightly a bit at a time . Jack up the rear and place heaps of foliage under the tyres and all the way back to where you want to get out . In other words make a drive way that will allow the tyres to grip and keep the rpm's to little more than is necessary to move the car. Spinning the wheels madly is a movie myth . Slow and easy will get you out

2005 ford escape 4x4... when i take off there is a thumping in rear passenger side tire. only at 15 miles per hour then stops and when breaks are applied and have to go from stop to start.

Jack up rear end and spin the wheel with your hand. Check for any types of distortions in the tyre and replace if necessary.

Check tightness of wheel nuts.

Check operation of rear brake.

Check for free play in rear wheel bearing.

Check condition of drive shaft and coupling.

Take all safety first and make jack in front and take car up (chk both tyres)

How do you change spark plugs in a 1992 Ford Taurus Station Wagon?

5/8 socket the three front ones are easy to get but there is a trick for the rear ones ,jack car up set on stands ,chock wheels for safety plus e on with a hydraulic jack and a piece of wood so you won't damage oil pan jack motor up and take of the two motor mounds or just the bolts that hold them in place then lower motor it should lean forward now you have more room to play with , good luck

No, the transmission can be removed without doing that. You will need to support the engine.

Where do you place the jack when changing a front tire on a 2001 ford excursion

First step. be sure that the vehicle is on a level surface with the transmission in Park and parking brake set. Chock the wheels if possible.
For a 4 Wheel Drive (4WD), a flat on passenger's side, position the jack so that it cradles the front axle. For a flat on the driver's side, position the jack so that it fits into the notched area of the 4WD differential. For a 2 Wheel Drive, position the jack so that the jack cradles the large pin that protrudes out of the cross-member to the front of car. Hopefully, this will FixYa problem!

If they are all terain or off road tyre's then it's normal if it has road tyre's then it would be best to get it checked wheel bearings and brakes.
