Mercedes s550 clock

Hi Aamer, Salaam, When the vehicle has the ignition switched off the visible readout is also turned off but power feeds the clock memory. Once you restart the vehicle the visible read out is illuminated and the figures become visible. If however the clock needs to be reset each time you start the vehicle, that means that the power feeding the memory of the clock has failed, which usually means a broken cable or a bad contact. 2003 ford f-350 trans temp gauge shows hot, tow / haul light blinks steadily....what could be the problem

From what i know of these trucks, its a "common problem". There is a tsb on this and the gauges arent really accurate. The tow light is blinking due to heating(not really), its trying to tell you to stop towing. Ive read that some guys gauge is reading 250 which if it really were, the truck would be running. Water boils at 220(im sure u know that). Suggestions ive come across is adding aftermarket gauges that give "accurate" readings unlike factory ones that are controlled by computer. Aftermarket will give you independent readouts.Heres a temp check you can try on your truck, im not sure if it will work for your model.

This is for the regular dash, like in XLT.
key off
push trip button in and hold
turn key on
"test" will appear in message display. Release button.
Gauges will sweep
then just push the button each time to scroll thru various modes.
Mostly junk info, but eventually you will come to temp, it is in Celcius so you have to convert to Farenheight(temp x 1.8 + 32)
Normal temp for mine at idle is 88, so 88x1.8=158.4,+ 32=190.4F
You can also view digital tach. All these modes are real time, and will remain on until you cycle the key on/off.

Mercedes w210 2001 wing mirror dissmantel to replace glass

Hi, Fold mirror in towards car and you will see an inspection hole at the bottom left of the end of the mirror housing. Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the hole and press against a small metal clip. you will feel the clip move and the housing will then slide off allowing you to unclip the glass

1985.5 PORSCHE 944 digital clock (changing time)

There are three buttons, let's call them 1, 2, and 3, from left to right.

Clock
Time setting

A. 12 AM, PM or 24.00 h
With the clock in the time readout mode, keep
button (2) depressed for 4 seconds -12 AM, PM
or 24.00 flashing. After pushing button (1), either
a 12-hour (AM + PM) or a 24-hour setting

change the display mode, push button (3). The
clock then returns to its normal timekeeping
function.

B. Hours
Push button (2) a second time - hour display
flashes. Set hour by pushing button (1). After
pushing button (3)*, the clock returns to the time
readout mode with new hour setting.

C. Minutes
Push button (2) once more - minute display
flashes. Set minute by pushing button (1). Upon
pushing button (3)*, the clock is started -
accurate to within 1 second.

Stop watch function
The stop watch can only be set in motion if the
clock is in its normal timekeeping mode and not
during setting operations.
A. Push button (3) - 00:00 display appears;
B. Push button (1) - stop watch is on;
C. Push button (1) a second time - watch stops.

(1) again - stop watch keeps running. Push button

D. Push button (2) - 00:00 display appears;
E. Push button (3) - normal timekeeping mode.

1980 eldorado heater control

I had a similar problem. I replaced the control head on the dashboard. that seemed to fix it.

you may also want to check the power amplifier located on top of the airbox off the firewall. sometimes this part can be an underlying issue. I had to replace that too.

good luck
