Do you have any leaks? Make sure that all bleeder screws are fully tightened after bleeding. When you bleed the brakes make sure that you do not let up the pedal while tightening / loosening the bleeder - otherwise air will return to the lines. If the problem continues you may need to have the ABS system bled with a computer attached - sometimes air can get trapped in the valve block and can only be released with a computer opening the valves and a pressure bleeder attacher to the reservoir.

nissan vehicle have a problem in the bleeding of the brake and as a result pressure bleed is more effective that the normal method
Take the vehicle to an accredited brake shop and have the brakes pressure bled or have a proper diagnosis done to find the fault

Brake pedal goes to floor

for the pedal to go to the floor there is still air in the brake system. Start again starting from the longest line bleeding each in turn to the shortest line . make sure you have adjusted up the rear brakes before bleeding as every time you press on the pedal the shoes expand right out and when you take your foot off the pedal the shoes go all the way back in. adjust them manually and do not rely on the self adjuster as it only adjusts on wheel movement

2001 Silverado 2500 HD Why Rear brakes don't work after I installed new hydro-boost power booster, master cylinder, calipers, and pads. I bled master cylinder before installing, and brakes beginn

Hello Patricia,

Have you checked the master brake cylinder reservoir for brake fluid loss?

I don't suspect the master cylinder as you have replaced it... but am more suspect of a leaking brake line or fitting which should have
been discovered when you had the system bled.

The only time I ever had a rear brake problem with a 2500 series Chevrolet was due to seized rear brake caliper guide pins...as your calipers are also new that is not your problem.

If your brake pedal feels spongy and travels to the floor board you have air in the system, a brake fluid leak or a failure in the power steering system, such as a broken hose, broken power steering pump drive belt, or failed pump, would result in a loss of pressure to both the hydro-boost and steering.

I HAVE A 95 F250 AND THE BRAKE PEDAL GOES TO THE FLOOR. I HAVE REPLACED THE MASTER CYLINDER TWICE AFTER BENCH BLEEDING, REPLACED THE BRAKE BOOSTER . BLED THE SYSTEM 3 TIMES AND THE BRAKE PEDAL STILL GOES...

You need to check wheel cylinders, the only way that the brake peddle will go to the floor like that is if there is a lose of fluid pressure somewhere .

You need a scan tool to hold open the control valves in the ABS, air is trapped in it and you can't bleed the brakes until you have the ABS held open
