Try flushing the cooling system with a weak caustic soda solution then a good flush and then add at least a 30% antifreeze mix to prevent corrosion in the cooling system

Trouble shoot turn signals 1994 Ford Ranger 2.3 engine

Diane, There are 2 separate flashers on your vehicle, one is for the emergency/4 way lights and one flasher is for the signal lights. It may be worth the couple bucks and replacing the signal flasher as a first step. Recheck bulbs/sockets, fuses/relays, flasher. If all looks good possible signal switch is bad. Remove switch and try to clean contacts or replace switch. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

1994 Ford Ranger 4l v6 overheating, i checked the hoses, the belt, the fan and topped up the coolant. i drove over some rough terrain last night and right after the temp gauge went red.

Could be a stuck or worn out thermistat, also listen to the fans on the truck.. sometimes if they are electric they burn out or the sensor is burnt out

I have a 1994 ford ranger and the 4 way flashers and turn signals suddenly stopped working

Check the flasher . This is usually right at your fuse panel. It just plugs in and can be removed and installed very easy
