How can I disable the abs chime on a 2007 sedona

Basically fix the ABS. The chime comes threw the radio. I guess you could put in an after market radio. That would do it also. You can't cut the communication wire to it, then the factory radio wouldn't work

How to replace radio in 2007 kia optima .. I need to know how to remove old radio and trim

The trim snaps in, no screws! I have used a hook type screwdriver, the kind used to install springs... I carefully insert the tool between the lower left corner of the radio and the bezel. Rotate the tool 90 degrees toward the bezel and pull straight out. Id say it comes off with maybe 15 pounds of pulling force. The radio is screwed in with brackets. You'll see once the bezel is off. **Keep in mind that many Optimas use an external amp located between the right rear door and wheel well. Also, some use 2 ohm speakers, all the way around. You may need to change all of it to upgrade your sound system, I did**. Good luck.

Will a 2006 Optima radio work in a 2007 Optima? My 2007 does not have MP3 cd and the 2006 does.

most likely they will, if the radios are the same size then you need to make sure the harness in the back is the same kind, if not then they make adapters for it. if radios are different sizes then they make different covers for them

Remove factory radio

This is one that you can stare at all day. the trim pieces that include the air vents (usually woodgrain) will come off and expose the screws that hold the radio in. They are held in by spring clips, a gentle pry will get you started. Here is a website that shows how to remove one for a cell phone mount: You may have to take the climate controll screws out to get the radio out far enough to reach the plugs on the back. You should be able to figure out the rest. good luck, and be gentle.. the trim is getting cheaper and cheaper, and is really easy to break.
